2010 DANCE & PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE

Application Guidelines

The application deadline for Session III and IV (July - December 2010) has passed.  If you'd still like to be considered for a residency for Session IV, please email institute@makedathomas.org

The 2010 Dance & Performance Institute welcomes proposals from international dance and performance artists who are interested in a self-directed residency in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Self-directed residencies are opportunities where the artist is free to experiment and explore new directions in the production of their work. Interaction with other artist residents is encouraged through creative collaboration, showings, and informal discussion. This, combined with periods of independent studio practice, creates an atmosphere of art as life.

Applications are open to professional dance and performance artists from all around the world.  Please submit a curriculum vitae, a letter of interest, and documentation of your work.
